Computing@Imperial. Huxley Building, South Kensington Campus.
Hey Caiwen (Chinese: 偲文) here! I’ve recently wrapped up my MRes (Master of Research) in the computing department, Imperial College London, under the guidance of Prof. Guang Yang.
During my wonderful year in London, I had the good fortune of serving as a volunteer at BMVC’22 and meeting researchers from different countries. Prior to Imperial, I received my B.E. at Northeastern University (China) one year ahead of schedule and subsequently worked as a research assistant there, advised by Prof. Shouliang Qi.
I am interested in computer vision and AI for healthcare. My current work is primarily in medical image analysis and lung diseases. Outside research, I enjoy painting, swimming, and taking walks with my friends.
I am actively seeking opportunities to pursue a PhD. If you are aware of any opportunities or have an opening in your lab, please feel free to reach out. I am eager to contribute novel insights to computing and create impactful solutions for real-world healthcare challenges.
